Up-Cycled Book Cover With Rice Paper

Hello my lovelies!

Today I have another very special project, this one was probably one of the most exciting ones and enjoyable that I've done in a while. The reason for it is of course this gorgeous rice paper!

I'm not joking when I tell you that I was beyond excited to see Decoupage Queen come out with designs that represent people of colour.

It's something that is not talked about a lot in the crafting community, so I am very, very hopeful that this will begin a new era of decoupage and crafting in general, where we will see more and more companies coming out with designs to represent the wide variety of cultures, skin tones, and beauty that is in the world.

So, with that being said, I hope that I've done the beautiful lady on the paper justice and that this little project will inspire you to share this message, and show that as a community we want to see more representation of POC.

Other than what I've said above, this lovely project was made for Decoupage Queen's monthly challenge, which this time is Decoupage on a book! you can find out more about it HERE.

I hope you're having a lovely day and will enjoy the video!
