Decoupage with Rice Paper on wooden Box

Well, here we are folks!

Today I'm sharing one of my most special projects I've EVER created.

This little box right here holds so many emotions, it's been several days since I finished it when I'm typing all of this and I'm still not over it. I still can't focus on anything else. very strangely, I'm almost grieving the fact that it's finished, complete and I'll never get to create this exact box ever again.

Do you ever feel like that?

There are many things that make this box special, but my favourite part of it all is the paper that I used.

This rice paper will forever hold a very special place in my heart.

If you've been following me for any amount of time, you've probably already noticed that I have a slight obsession with checks.

And one day a few months ago I was given an opportunity to turn my hand painted checks in to rice paper.

Actual paper that you can hold, smell, touch and of course use in your projects.

I can't even begin to tell you how much it means to have been given the opportunity to create this paper. I am so grateful to Decoupage Queen for giving me this opportunity and to every single one of you guys watching because without you, none of this would be possible. <3
